IsThisKnit?

As an active member of KONTEMPO I have been a part of

arranging this exhibition.

KONTEMPO is a Nordic-based platform working to spread

knowledge and awareness aout contemporary textiles.

19.04.17 // I have been working on a huge decoration recently.

It will be installed very soon in Copenhagen City Square,

in relation to Byens Hegn and the building of the Metro.

The final decoration will be 4m x 24,5m,

and hopefully make the illusion of a changing

pattern when passing it in speed.

07.03.17 // I was invited to style a concept kitchen for HTH,

as a part of the campaign HTH GO.

Part of the project were to show the process from idea to

the final styled kitchen.

To show just that, they made a short film.

29.09.16 // I am very proud to be a part of this group of

Designers called KONTEMPO. This is some photos from our

first exhibition, which took pace this spring.

The exhibition was called #Is This Textile?,

and pretty much sums up what this group is about.

To question what textile is and how we work as designers

within this field.

 

 

 

 
     

26.09.15 // At the Ciff Kids Fashion Fair in August, I did a

collaboration with Kids Wear Magazine designing the

Trend Area.

Here is a photo of the installation before it was put into place.

 
     

06.09.15 // Right now Ferm Living has launched several new

products for kids. I am very happy to have been a part of this

collaboration, where I have designed the prints.

17.01.15 // I will exhibit my project 'Soft Sculpture' at

CIFF KIDS trade fair in Copenhagen from the 25th to

24.06.14 // Once in a while I am a guest teacher at Kolding

Design School. In this photo I am teaching an illustratio

course for the 2nd year fashion and textile students.

The past 6 month I have also been the tutor of 8 Master

student in the department of Communication/Illustration.

It has been a great experience to see 8 projects develop

from scratch, and for them to graduate.

13.06.13 // Right now I am working on a tablecloth for

the Danish art society called 'Kunstforeningen af 14. august'.

These are the first sampels - trying to work out the

colours and the pattern.

I am printing with a silk screen using reactive dyes,

which really blend nicely when the are printed on

top of eachother
